Project Description
Our clients had an outdated kitchen and they wanted to create a more family-friendly and cooking friendly area. They did a lot of cooking and baking together so they wanted a place where they could work together. We created a large island for them.
We opened up a pass-through area between the kitchen and the dining room to give more light and make the kitchen feel larger. We placed the island where they could maneuver around because they would gather in the kitchen and bump into each other.
We also created a butler pantry or some people might call it a china cabinet but it has additional counterspace for them and storage as well and the wall cabinets have clear glass for them to decorate and show off their glasses and China.
The cabinets are White Shaker style and the countertops are quartz. We installed pendant lights over the New Island. We overhung the countertop on the island on two side so they could have seating for meals and for food preparation.
