Our clients had an original bathroom that needed updating. They began the demo themselves and found it quite difficult also they didn’t have the time to finish the demo with their work schedule. We removed the cast iron tub and installed a new custom cement tiled shower base. We removed their old upright larger radiator and replaced it with new cast iron baseboard to give them more room near the toilet. We removed the existing linen cabinet doors, painted them and repurposed them. We needed to reframe some of the walls because they were original and not sufficient for new wallboard. The wall tile in the shower area is Subway Style. The floor tile is 12″ x 24″porcelain and the mosaic tile on the shower base was matched with the back of the shampoo niche.
